When the enemy tries to come against you, by reminding you of your past, remind Satan of his future.

How is it that God can forgive us, but at times we cannot forgive ourselves? Or let the enemy try to tell us otherwise, that perhaps we aren’t forgiven? Being a Christian does not mean we live each day depressed, guilt filled about the mistakes we made. Being a Christian is about being in the present with the Lord and looking toward the future for the glory of God and for all the goodness to come.
The devil will use your past to come against you.  This is easy territory for the devil to target; to fill you with guilt of an ungodly past. Keep in mind all humans have made mistakes but don’t LIVE in them LEARN from them, look forward, know that your mistakes don’t define you. Errors have allowed you to join the righteous path you now travel on. The past is over. No man or woman can go back and undo what has been done. Don’t waste the opportunity God has given you today by dwelling on what has occurred. Learn from your past but don’t let it withhold or hinder your future blessings.
Your future is too bright; your blessings depend on your immediate and concrete attention to the present and the future. Make sure your eyes, mind and spirit are focused on your present and your future; be excited for what God has for you!
For we all can be saved by His grace.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
You are fearfully and wonderfully made
